Most first-year students live in Residence Halls - in either a single, double, triple or quad room. All rooms come furnished and are equipped with ultra-fast (T1) internet connections, and telephone/voicemail service. More details are available at your college's web site.

UC Santa Cruz Dining
Meal time is an opportunity to meet old and new friends, visit and relax, and of course, EAT! All students living on campus and at the University Inn are required to have a meal plan.
The campus features five dining halls located across the campus. Student ID cards, which double as both meal card and bus pass, may be used at all of the campus dining halls as well as several campus coffee bars, cafes and restaurants. Weekly dining hall menus are published online. Many of the dining hall also offer daily specials and unique specialty items.
College Nights are a formal and popular event where students are served at their table or treated to a special buffet dinner. College Nights have student-designed themes and feature entertainment.

Oversees the planning, development, and coordination of the business and operational functions of the college and student life including supervision of the staff, college finances and facilities. |
| Associate College Administrative Officer (ACAO) |
Responsible for the Student Life program, and the development and enforcement of residential policies. |
| Housing Coordinator |
Responsible for roommate assignments, contract changes and the management of the Housing Office. |
| Coordinator of Residential Education (CRE) |
Full-time professional staff members who reside at the college year rounds. They are responsible for the training and supervision of the Resident Advisers (RAs) and also adjudicate incidents for their area. |
| College Programs Coordinator (CPC) |
Work to plan orientation, graduation, recruitment and other fun college-centered programs and activities. |
