Housing for Students with Families
Family Student Housing offers a unique living experience for UCSC students and their "families." We define "family" in a variety of ways at Family Student Housing.
For example, a "family" may consist of a UCSC student and:
- their spouse, or
- their adult domestic partner, or
- a blood relative (parent, sister, brother, cousin, aunt, uncle or grandparent, etc. ), or
- their child or children
- Contact us to discuss your personal situation and to learn more
- Visit our other web pages (listed above in tan box) for forms, resources and additional information
Some of the benefits of living at Family Student Housing are:
- Rent that is below the average for the Santa Cruz area (see rates below)
- Spacious (1,000 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartments, most including either a balcony area or a small yard
- Family Student Housing apartments are unfurnished
- Kitchens with electric range and refrigerator
- Cable modem and television service included
- Laundry facilities with card-operated washers and dryers
- Community Safety Officer services on evenings and weekends
- Onsite Child Care and Early Education center
